I wish I could assign multiple workouts in a day…

I wish I could pick specific warm-ups for my athletes to do…

I wish I could create my own activities for athletes to do in the app…

TODAY IS THE DAY. No, it’s not just the first day of fall — it’s the first day of our biggest release since we launched V3! Grab a pumpkin spice latte and settle in for what may be our most exciting release yet.

As of today, you can assign multiple activities per day in Volt — AND organize those activities into separate training sessions. This includes Warm-Ups, Primers, and Finishers! 🚨🚨

Planning a heavy squat day? Add a Lower-Body Mobility Primer before the workout. Want to run a conditioning session with 400m repeats or a 2-mile ruck? Create a custom conditioning activity and track completion. Need to split up your day into multiple sessions? Now you can do it all in Volt!

With the addition of these powerful features, you’ll notice the coach platform and training app now look a little bit different. We want to thank you in advance for your patience as you get to know the new Volt. As always, our amazing Support team is standing by if you have questions.

This release has been a labor of love for the team at virtual Volt HQ all summer long. We welcome your feedback on these features— and we look forward to all we can do together in the future!

You may experience slower than normal loading times for a few days while your data is migrated to the new format. We expect this to resolve by 9/30/23.

🧘🏽‍♀️ Assign Custom Activities

Today, we enter a whole new era for Volt. (You might want to sit down for this part.) Volt is no longer just for strength and power training. Starting today, you can use Volt to assign and track ANYTHING.

Running. Rucking. Steady-state aerobic training. AMRAP workouts. Yoga. Meditation sessions. Whatever it is you need to assign to your athletes or clients — you can now do it in Volt.

We’ve built a new concept called a Custom Activity, which you can add to a program just like a workout. A custom activity is a simple, high-level assignment, one where you care more about overall completion vs. specific loading and volume.

For your athletes, a custom activity is a super lightweight workout mode. Instead of tapping through multiple sets, an activity has just one step — where you can add instructions, hyperlinks to videos or articles, and more. Your athletes will see the assigned activity on their home screen for the day, where they can mark it complete, select an RPE, and write notes back to you about how it went.
