We’ve redesigned Volt training programs! 😱🔥🚀
Our original programs have served us well — but it was time for an upgrade. With the old programs, we could only prescribe one workout per day (no Warm-Ups, Primers, etc.) and every program was always 52 weeks in length. NOT very flexible.
Our new programs are built on new tech, with more to offer. Read on to learn what you can do with our new Smart Programs™ — from customizing workout duration to stacking multiple programs together.
We know that change (even good change!) can be hard. Don’t worry: our Classic Programs are still available for you, until we sunset that technology in the future.

We’re proud to unveil the next evolution in Volt training: Smart Programs™.
We’ve redesigned Volt’s training programs to be even more flexible, effective, and fun. Developed by Head of Performance Training at Volt, Jace Derwin, CSCS, RSCC, TSAC-F, our new programs have been updated with you in mind. Here’s what the new programs bring to the table.
Our Classic Programs were reliable, but limited. We built them using our original, patented program generator technology. With Smart Programs, we leveled up our tech to design hyper-flexible programs that you can customize to your specific needs, and/or use as a first draft when building out training.

Not ready to make the switch? Don’t worry: our Classic Programs are still available for you until we sunset our old technology.

We also upgraded our program wizard, so even if you’re starting from a Program Template or Blank Program, you’ll see a new and improved user experience. 🪄
Want more from Volt than a single workout?
Classic Programs contained one workout per day, period. In a Smart Program, athletes will see a perfectly paired Warm-Up or Primer before their Workout, based on the goals of the program.
Volt generates a Smart Program with 3 training days, each with a Warm-Up or Primer + Workout.
