<aside> 💘 February 28, 2024
Think of our February product release as a virtual box of chocolates just for you, Volt Family! We’ve solved some of your stickiest pain points (like, I can’t assign athletes to two programs on the same group) and added some romantic new features (like editing workout names and publishing your own Warm-Ups, Primers, and Finishers).
We hope you ❤️ these updates as much as we do. Please keep your feedback coming!

In our last release, we built a way for coaches to create, save, and reuse big chunks of training (one or more weeks). We call this feature Program Templates. In this release, we’re giving you even more precise building blocks to construct your programs: Activity Templates.
Now, you can create, save, and reuse single Warm-Ups, Primers, Workouts, and Finishers:
To create a new Activity Template, go to Templates > Activity Templates > and hit Create New. Choose your activity type, mode (Set Mode or Circuit Mode), and add a short description (optional). Then, add movements and edit the activity as you like!
You can also save previously created activities as templates. To save an activity as a new template, click the ellipsis menu […] on an activity > Save as Template > go!
Best of all, you can drop your activity templates into any program (or program template). To add your activities, click the plus icon on a session > Insert Template > search for your template > go!
ℹ️ With this change, you’ll notice we combined our two previous workout types (”Circuit Mode Workout” and “Set Mode Workout”) into one simple “Workout.” That’s because now, you can create any type of activity in either Circuit Mode or Set Mode — so you’ll choose the mode for Warm-Ups, Primers, and Finishers too.
The old system.
The new update. Workouts will still be presented in either Set Mode or Circuit Mode to athletes, but you choose this on a different step.
